School Holiday Programs

Great activities for children, youth and families to make the most of the School Holidays. School Holiday activities vary each period and include:

  • Unlimited Animations Program – for youth aged 12 – 17yrs to develop a mini animated movie using their IT and creative talents
  • Youth First Aid (CPR) – for youth aged 12 – 17yrs to build hands-on skills and knowledge on basic first aid and resuscitation situations to respond with greater confidence; the session offers real life situations that are relatable to age group and their peers; youth receive a Certificate of Completion
  • Kids First Aid (CPR) – for kids aged 5 – 11yrs to introduce kids to basic first aid and resuscitation with hands-on demonstrations that improve their skills and confidence to act with greater confidence; the session is relatable to the age group and parents are welcome to remain in the session; kids receive a Certificate of Completion
  • Dad’s & Kids Bushwalking and BBQ – held at the Daisy Hill Koala Sanctuary for children of all ages to enjoy time with their dad/Uncle/Grandparents/carer experiencing nature on a mini bushwalk followed by a BBQ, games and a visit to the Koala sanctuary
  • Kids in the Kitchen – for children up to 11yrs with their parent/carer to prepare, cook and enjoy a range of meals, snacks and desserts that are kid-friendly and easily adaptable to different tastes; great opportunity for children to develop skills and habits to last a lifetime
  • Under 12’s Family Dance Party – dancing, dress-up, activities, games and food for the whole family to enjoy

School Holiday Programs are part of the Community Development Program which provides opportunities for the community to access creative, educational, social, health and wellbeing, as well as family friendly programs and activities. The Program also encourages and supports community led initiatives.
