Administration Coordinator

Kingston East Neighbourhood Group Inc. (KENG) is a community not-for-profit organisation offering a diverse range of programs and services for the Logan community. 

KENG is looking for an experienced and efficient Administration Coordinator, who will be accountable for administration and office management, human resources, and support to all KENG programs, and the executive team. 

Administration:

  • Develop, implement, mainttain and review comprehensive systems in relation to managerial correspondence, administrative and human resource activities
  • Undertake administrative tasks relevant to the delivery of the different program areas
  • In conjunction with the administration assistant manage the KENG reception
  • Support and supervise unpaid and paid administrative/reception staff
  • Coordinate bookings and enquiries for room hire (internal and external)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy done in a timely manner
  • High level skills in Microsoft Office suite
  • Reporting experience
  • The ability to work autonomously
  • An efficient and self-motivated attitude
  • Excellent communication skills, including a professional phone manner.

 

Information Management

  • Manage Information technology resources including liaison with IT provider and coordination regarding phone systems
  • Develop information and promotional flyers, and PowerPoint presentations
  • Maintain the organisational directories, data bases and electronic mailing lists
  • Assist in delivering services to clients by providing information concerning organisation’s services and referral of enquiries to other agencies

 

The position is permanent part time five days per week, 72 hours per fortnight and paid under the Social, Community, Home Care & Disability Services Industry Award 2010, at Level 4.1.
