Do you possess the following skills?

  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and support people from diverse backgrounds
  • Experience in hospitality, retail, customer service, or training environments
  • Calm, empathetic, and a supportive strength based approach to participant development
  • Strong organisational and time‑management abilities
  • Ability to lead groups and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Problem-solving skills and adaptability in a dynamic environment
  • Mentoring trainees to build confidence and independence in hospitality tasks.

Essential Requirements:

  • Current and viable National Criminal History check or ability to obtain one
  • Possession of a current Queensland Driver’s License.
  • Experience in hospitality, café operations, customer service, or similar
  • Certificate III or IV in Hospitality / Retail / Training (desirable but not essential)
  • Experience working with young people, jobseekers, or community programs
  • Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
  • First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
