We are seeking a warm, skilled and energetic Child & Family Practitioner to join our Early Years Place team. In this role, you will contribute to creating and welcoming, inclusive space where children and their families feel supported, empowered and connected.

A Bachelor degree is required for this position.

A minimum of 1-2 years experience working with children and families is essential.

The role will include:

  • Facilitating playgroups that promote early learning, social connection and positive child development

  • Delivering evidenced based parenting programs that build caregivers confidence, strengthen relationships and support family wellbeing

  • Experience facilitating parenting programs is an essential requirement

  • Developing community connections including outreach, partnerships and broader initiatives that respond to local needs.

  • Creating safe, inclusive environments where families from all back grounds feel respected and valued

  • Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure children and families receive holistic and coordinated support.

  • Blue Card, Police check, and Working with children clearances are required

This role is for 6 months with the possiblity of an extension and will be Monday – Friday (26 hours per week/Level 4.1 SACS)
